Student/Parent Portal
I am pleased to offer a comprehensive tutoring management software, TutorBird, with a dedicated student/parent portal.
With TutorBird, parents and students can login anytime to view their upcoming lessons, access files, and track their study hours.
In addition to scheduling and tracking features, the software also includes an account and invoice menu. This will allow you to log in and access billing information, view invoices, and make online payments directly through the portal. -
Pricing
As an educator who has a Master's degree in educational technology and possesses years of experience working with students of all ages and skill levels, I believe in providing high-quality tutoring services that are tailored to your student’s individualized needs.
My remote tutoring sessions are available in 30-minute and 1-hour time blocks, with rates of $25.00 and $50.00, respectively. The virtual sessions offer flexibility and convenience, allowing students to access expert tutoring services from any location.
For students who prefer in-person sessions, I do offer this option, although there is a significant price difference due to additional expenses such as travel time. If you're interested in scheduling an in-person session, please contact me for more information about pricing and availability.
Meet the teacher
Wife, math teacher, avid reader, fourth-generation longhorn, and competitive tennis player are just a few words to describe me, but most importantly, my name is Rebekah Bentley Garcia.
I grew up in the piney woods of East Texas in a small town called Tyler until I moved to Austin, TX, to attend The University of Texas at Austin. I majored in Spanish like my Spanish great-grandmother before me and met my husband, Joseph, a Computational Physics major.
Unlike my great-grandmother, I had originally planned on using my Spanish to attend law school and specialize in immigration law; that is until I started tutoring bilingual elementary students and fell in love with teaching. So, after graduation, I began the process of earning my alternative teaching certification through a program with Texas Teachers and accepted a position as an English as a Second Language Mathematics teacher at a middle school in Pflugerville, TX.
Fast forward several years, and I now possess a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Texas State University, as well as years of working experience in the field of education both as a teacher and as an online mathematics curriculum author.
I am passionate about working with students and would relish the opportunity to educate, encourage, and inspire your student to reach his/her full potential!
