What I offer
Tutoring
The Virtual Classroom is dedicated to providing personalized support and guidance in K-9 Math, K-12 English Language Arts, and K-12 Spanish, to students in a virtual environment.
Tutoring sessions are available in the following formats:
30-minute remote sessions: Ideal for students desiring multiple tutoring sessions during the week or students who would benefit from a quick review and additional guidance to reinforce their understanding of the concepts. These sessions allow for individualized attention and support on a regular basis.
1-hour remote sessions: Ideal for students who need more in-depth support, are struggling in a particular subject area, or who are seeking an in-depth exploration of advanced academic material. These sessions allow for more comprehensive coverage of material and more time for practice and feedback.
In-person sessions: Ideal for students who prefer in-person tutoring or for group sessions in a home school co-op.
*Due to the additional expenses associated with in-person sessions, the pricing for in-person sessions is higher than the remote options.
Pricing
As an educator who has a Master’s degree in educational technology and possesses years of experience working with students of all ages and skill levels, I believe in providing high-quality tutoring services that are tailored to your student’s individualized needs.
My remote tutoring sessions are available in 30-minute and 1-hour time blocks, with rates of $25.00 and $50.00, respectively. The virtual sessions offer flexibility and convenience, allowing students to access expert tutoring services from any location.
For students who prefer in-person sessions, I do offer this option, although there is a significant price difference due to additional expenses such as travel time. If you’re interested in scheduling an in-person session or are interested in in-person group sessions as part of a home school co-op, please contact me for more information about pricing and availability.
Student/parent portal
I am pleased to offer a comprehensive tutoring management software, TutorBird, with a dedicated student/parent portal.
With TutorBird, parents and students can login anytime to view their upcoming lessons, access files, and track their study hours.
In addition to scheduling and tracking features, the software also includes an account and invoice menu. This will allow you to log in and access billing information, view invoices, and make online payments directly through the portal.
